It's time to enter Craftinsure Bass Week and the NSSA Regatta. 75 days till Craftinsure Bass Week and two weeks to the discounted entry deadline.

Entries for Craftinsure Bass Week are up to 120 boats with two weeks till the entry discounts end. Some fleets are already looking seriously competitive, with bumper numbers of juniors in the Mirror, Tera and Topper fleet and Lasers and Flying Fifteens approaching 20 boats. The big discounted entry deadline for racing and camping ends on the 2nd June, if you're thinking of joining us this year you need to enter soon! Whilst motorhomes and caravan spots are fully booked, there is still space for those wishing to camp in tents. Alternatively, there is lots of accommodation locally, with B&Bs just outside the club gate and motorhome/caravaning at Herdwick Croft. Entry is open via Craftinsure Bass Week website www.bassweek.org.uk.

NSSA Regatta entry deadlines ends in 4 days!

Just two weeks before Craftinsire Bass Week, Bassenthwaite Sailing Club is hosting the 2024 National Schools Sailing Association Regatta. The event is a great opportunity to meet fellow sailors, with fleet racing for ILCA, Topper and Mixed Dinghy Fleets with up to fourteen races over five days (22nd - 26th of July). Youth sailors with less racing experience are invited to join the coached Rookie Fleet.

Thanks to Bassenthwaite Sailing Club's extensive grounds, competitors and team managers are invited to camp on-site. On-site catering will keep everyone fuelled throughout the regatta, with a breakfast, lunch and dinner food package available at the time of booking.

The Notice of Race has now been published and entry and further event information is available via our dedicated NSSA website. Please note that entries are collated by regional team managers. Please contact the NSSA for your local team manager. Discounted entry ends on the 24th of May 2024. Any questions or queries, please do get in touch via
