BWA Yachting is thrilled to announce the sponsorship of Sail Team BCN, the Spanish challenger for the Unicredit Youth & Puig Women's America's Cup. This collaboration marks a significant milestone for Sail Team BCN as they prepare to represent Spain in both the female and youth categories of the prestigious America's Cup.

The strong link between BWA Yachting and the glorious America's Cup gets tighter as the global superyacht agency had announced back in August 2022 to be the exclusive Superyacht Programme Delivery Programme. As well as managing the centralized berth booking programme, BWA Yachting has also been appointed as the "Preferred Yacht Agents" for the event. This partnership underscores the agency's dedication to providing unparalleled support to the event, ensuring that every aspect of the America's Cup experience is seamless and unforgettable for superyacht Owners and guests.

The Unicredit Youth & Puig Women's America's Cup, scheduled to take place from September 26 to October 16, 2024, will see Sail Team BCN compete against top international talent in a bid to secure the coveted titles. The team, led by legendary Catalan sailor Guillermo Altadill and experienced international team manager Stewart Hosford, is poised to make waves in the world of competitive sailing.

"We are absolutely thrilled to be supporting the Spanish women's team as they make history in the America's Cup. This is a monumental moment for female sailors, and we are proud to play a part in raising their profile and providing them with the opportunities they deserve to shine on the global stage." said Antonella Della Pietra, Managing Partner of BWA Yachting Spain.

Tamara Echegoyen, sailor with Sail Team BCN, stated "I am incredibly excited about the upcoming competitions, especially with the inclusion of a women's event in the America's Cup schedule. This is a huge step forward for female sailors, and I am confident in our team's ability to compete at the highest level. The talent and dedication of female sailors in Spain are unmatched, and I am proud to be a part of this historic moment."

"We are deeply committed to achieving success in the America's Cup, and we are grateful for the unwavering support of BWA Yachting. We are excited to continue working together to develop young talent and showcase their skills on a global platform. Thank you, BWA Yachting, for believing in us and helping us make our dreams a reality." said Guillermo Altadill, Team Principal of Sail Team BCN.

Sail Team BCN is proud to represent Spain in the 37th America's Cup and is determined to make a lasting impact in the world of sailing. The team is grateful for the support of BWA Yachting and looks forward to an exciting and successful partnership.

The sponsorship and Sail Team BCN will be presented to special guests, media, and friends at the AC37 Superyacht Programme Launch event hosted by BWA Yachting in Barcelona on April 19th.
