A-Class racers got right into the action on Day 1 of the Admiral's Cup on April 5, 2024, hosted by Pensacola Yacht Club and led by National Race Officer, Hal Smith and his team of skilled volunteers.

Nine boats registered in the foiling fleet and fourteen in the classic fleet with three races run in 6-15 mph with a light tide and light chop. Cam Farrah, Axel Issel, and Jeff Brauch took an early lead in the first three positions in the foiling fleet with Bob Hodges, Oscar Rodgers, and Patrick Stadt taking the first three positions in the classic fleet.
