Never stop flying over the water, never stop experiencing the 69F Class, that, for its fourth year of activity, is ready to rock in an exciting racing season, divided into three different series of regatta: the world famous 69F Cup, the Youth Foiling Gold Cup and the Women Foiling Gold Cup.
A very long list of events, completed by the Junior Foiling Gold Cup, scheduled in Malcesine, on the Lake Garda, between 27 and 30 June.
Among the novelties of this year it should be noted that all the events will be held on the lake, visiting, beyond Malcesine, the waterfront towns of Acquafresca and Torbole and following clients' suggestions/meeting the needs of 69F customers. This happens after a few season spent sailing between the Lake Garda and some iconic spots, like Miami, Barcelona, Newport, Valencia and was suggested by the management's desire to guarantee to every single sailor the best possible experience. After all, what a better place than the home waters of the Garda Lake, where logistics are top-notch, sailing starts a few meters from the marina and top weather conditions are almost guaranteed?
A return home, therefore, for this one design foiler, an absolute novelty in its size, presented in 2020 and within a few seasons becoming the training ground for many who have reached the America's Cup world. Actually, a bunch of international sailors, involved in top team like Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli Team, American Magic, Alinghi Red Bull Racing, Orient Express Racing Team, Dutchsail Team, Sail BCN Team, Emirates Team New Zealand, Swedish Challenge Team and Germany Team to sail in the Unicredit Youth and Puig Women America's Cup, achieved their dream by flying and experiencing the 69F.
Returning to the 2024 season, the opening event of the 69F Cup will be in Malcesine (23-28 April) while the Women Foiling Gold Cup will go under way in the same spot right the week after (2-5 May). 66F Cup will continue with events in Torbole (25-25 May) and Acquafresca (23-28 July) before the Malcesine (17-22 September) grand finale while the Women Foiling Gold Cup will count on two legs, both in Malcesine, and will reach an end in September (26-29). Four are the events reserved for young sailors, three of them concerning the Youth Foiling Gold Cup (Torbole 13-19 May, Malcesine 17-23 June, Acquafresca 15-21 July) and the aforementioned Junior Foiling Gold Cup.
In addition to the regatta program, the 69F Class management urges those who want to live the 69F experience to get in touch to plan the thrill of the first "flight over the water", and find out why ours is not called sailing but 69F, as much as a tailor-made training sessions, during which you can get the most out of every minute spent on board.
