Australian Water Sports brand Vaikobi is calling for sailors to 'make the shift' to their new range of FlexForce Next Gen High Performance wetsuits.

Next Gen FlexForce Range of neoprene suits follows the launch of Vaikobi's highly successful range of sailing hikers and harnesses that have proven to be extremely popular in the small boat scene since they launched in 2023.

What differentiates Next Gen Flex Force from the competition is the combination of durability, stretch and superior body control features which together has produced an overall package that is more comfortable, lasts longer and works over a larger temperature range.

Available in 2.0mm and 3.5mm configurations across Long Johns and Tops, the FlexForce range of Next Gen wetsuits is an enhanced product range launched by Vaikobi as a result of a strong development program during 2023 with Vaikobi's international team of athletes.

The new range includes styles for men and women with all suits constructed using bonded seams for increased durability and stretch.

"The brief for FlexForce was to produce a highly versatile line up of wetsuits that perform across a range of wind / sailing disciplines and also across a large temperature range whilst providing a high level of stretch, comfort and durability." says product designer Bart Milczarczyk.

Vaikobi is well known in the paddle sport market for their designs that control body temperature across their product ranges, and it is this same design philosophy that Vaikobi is incorporating in their new sailing wetsuit designs.

Working with the body, the FlexForce range of wetsuits have been programmed to be super stretchy in the required areas to enhance movement, whilst other parts of the suits have been designed to enhance durability, resist abrasion, and control temperature.

The 2mm women's and men's Long Johns and tops are warm enough for cool days, and cool enough for warm days. The game-changing 2.0mm FlexForce neoprene is extremely versatile and feels like it's not even there. Super-stretchy and thin engineered neoprene, airprene and titanium panels work together to power the wearer through a wide range of temperatures and conditions. The 2mm FlexForce range offers superb versatility for sailing in moderate to cool conditions.

The 3.5mm women's and men's Long Johns and tops feel good on the water no matter how cold it gets. The V-Thermal Fleece dual-knit fabric utilises poly-prop fibres to draw water away from the body, so sailors stay warmer and drier, while bonded and taped seams block water entry, which allows technical fabrics and thermal layers to maintain a comfortable core temperature.

Across the whole range, all Flexforce Next Gen suits feature bonded seams for increased durability to ensure your suit lasts longer. This is a big part of Vaikobi's ongoing sustainability strategy to significantly increase the usable life of all products.

Vaikobi's FlexForce range is now available through the Vaikobi Dealer Network and around the world and at www.vaikobi.com/collections/flexforce-neoprene-wetsuits
