World renown brands Heineken and LaMarca are on board for this year's BVI Spring Regatta and Sailing Festival (BVISR), and these new sponsors are committed to ensure the best Caribbean regatta experience possible for competitors, their friends and families celebrating the warm water and hot racing that the BVISR is famous for.

There's not much that can go wrong at the end of a great racing day with plenty of ice-cold Heineken and chilled LaMarca prosecco at hand, that we do know!

Sailing the world since 1873, Heineken and Family Brands are proud to return as the official beer brand of the BVI Spring Regatta and Sailing Festival. Hot on the heels of the 44th Heineken Regatta held in St Maarten, Heineken brings numerous brands, such as Heineken Silver, Heineken 0.0, Sol, Red Stripe, Dragon Stout, Dos Equis, Desperados, and La Tropical Beer to the BVISR party.

"Heineken is synonymous throughout the Caribbean with sailboat racing and fun times, and we couldn't be more pleased to have Heineken on board," Regatta Director Cayley Smit commented. "LaMarca is a favourite prosecco all over the world and our competitors will be happy to make every regatta day sparkle with the bright flavours and lively bubbles of LaMarca Prosecco! We also welcome aboard new sponsors 284 Media & CCT Live, a British Virgin Islands commercial broadcast television news network, and Silver Airways, a favoured airline for Caribbean travel."

Returning to consolidate their long-time commitment to the success of the regatta include major sponsor Nanny Cay Resort and Marina, the Government of the British Virgin Islands, Sol Petroleum, Mount Gay Rum, and Moorings.

It's not too late to race BVISR 2024 - take advantage of Moorings great limited-time offer to book a 7-day charter before April 1st, 2024, and save up to 25% to charter between March 1st, 2024, and April 30th, 2024.

Other 2024 regatta sponsors include the BVI Tourist Board, Cape Air, Coca-Cola, Golden Hind Chandlery, International Motors, Portland Ship Yard, Riteway, Sea Hawk Paints, Scrub Island Resort, Marina and Spa, and Talking Points.

"BVISR is proud of its 2024 sponsors; the event would not be possible without their participation, and we are so grateful for their support," Smit said. "We hope that our competitors and visitors support our regatta sponsors at every opportunity!"

Registration is still open for the 2024 edition of the BVI Spring Regatta and Sailing Festival - it's not too late to join in the fun for warm water and hot racing! bvispringregatta.org.
