Introducing the Legacy 12 - A full-fledged compact cruising motor yacht

by Legacy Yachts 27 Feb 2024 18:50 GMT

Introducing the all-new Legacy 12, the first edition of the new Legacy Mark II Series. Handsome and robust, the Legacy 12 is not your typical downeast picnic boat.

In fact, it is a full-fledged compact cruising motor yacht with the capabilities for extended along-shore cruising and island-hopping, including circuiting the Great Loop. Owners have the option of powering with twin 300HP outboard engines from Mercury or Yamaha and can expect a comfortable cruising speed around 30 knots. The Legacy 12 has a top speed of 45 knots and come standard with electro-hydraulic steering controls.

Legacy 12 - Design Specifications

Below are several features found on the Legacy 12 Outboard:

  • Moderate Deep-V hull created from an infused acrylic-modified Epoxy fiberglass laminate that is strategically reinforced with Carbon Fiber
  • The critical hull/deck joint is both mechanically fastened and fusion-bonded for a durable, leak-free connection
  • Spacious cockpit for entertaining that includes an outdoor BBQ, entertainment cooking station, refrigerator, ice maker, al fresco dining table, and an extendable sunshade

  • Option for either 1 cabin or 2 cabin layout. The owner's cabin is forward with a queen-sized berth. The Port lounging and reading area can be optionally replaced with a guest cabin with twin berths.
  • Full galley positioned on the main deck behind the starboard side helm seat. Ceramic induction cooktop with either Corian or quartz countertop
