Ahead of the 2024 RYA Dinghy & Watersports Show, the UK Nacra 15 class has announced two exciting new partnerships for the Nacra 15 youth multihull class!

MDL Marinas will host the UK Nacra 15 Summer Championships at MDL Hamble Point Marina, in cooperation with Warsash SC. The fleet will head to Hamble on the 29th/30th of June - MDL's support providing the youth sailors with fantastic onshore facilities, launching into the shelter of the Hamble River before heading out to race on The Solent. Warsash SC's riverside clubhouse will provide a perfect backdrop for an evening social in the mid-summer sun, looking across the river towards the marina.

In addition to this, the class has also announced Sailing Chandlery as title sponsor of the UK Nacra 15 National Series, supporting the class' six-event series with event and series prizes. Sailing Chandlery founder and lifelong catamaran sailor, Andrew Dowley, commented:

"The team at Sailing Chandlery are very excited to partner with the UK Nacra 15 Class Association as the National Series sponsor. As catamaran sailors ourselves it's been excellent to see the progress of the fleet over recent years and we are looking forward to supporting the sailors throughout 2024"

The Sailing Chandlery UK Nacra 15 National Series is set to provide a wide range of racing formats and venues throughout the year. The recent UK Nacra 15 Winter Championships saw a sprint racing format introduced, whilst the East Coast Piers Race provides long distance racing opportunities, interspersed by more traditional championship racing!
