Sail Canada is pleased to announce that nominations for its 2024 Annual Awards are now open.

Starting now, Sail Canada is looking to receive nominations from the Canadian Sailing community to recognize outstanding sailors, athletes, coaches, instructors, officials, volunteers and events through one of Sail Canada's different Annual Award categories, based on activities and performances that occurred from January 1 to December 31, 2023.

Regarding Sail Canada's Sailor of the Year Award, since its inauguration by Rolex Canada 37 years ago, the final awarding of Canada's Rolex Sailor of the Year Award was last year after being celebrated by the partner from 1986 to 2022. Nomination forms for each of the awards are available online at www.sailing.ca/annual-national-awards. Once they have been filled out, they can be sent no later than March 15, 2024, to Sail Canada's National Office at .

The recipients of these awards will be honoured through the year.
