In a significant boost to the RS21 UK & Ireland Cup, the RS21 UK & Ireland Class Association is thrilled to announce Roger Wilson as the Principal Race Officer (PRO) for the 2024 Season.

With a career that has spanned over two decades at the forefront of race management, Wilson brings a depth of experience and an unparalleled understanding of competitive sailing to one of the fastest growing classes in the UK.

Roger Wilson's appointment as PRO is a testament to his distinguished career and expertise in orchestrating sailing competitions at the highest levels, including his notable role in the 2012 Paralympics as Principal Race Officer for the Sonar Class, and significant contributions to the Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC) among a long list of achievements in the sport.

Nick Redding, International RS21 Class Manager, expressed his enthusiasm for Wilson's involvement, stating, "Securing Roger Wilson as the Principal Race Officer for the Cup is a real coup for us. Roger's extensive experience, especially his instrumental role in the Paralympics, and his invaluable contributions to a range of classes in the UK and Internationally, brings a level of expertise and professionalism that is unmatched.
