In the run up to the season-opening RYA Dinghy and Watersports Show, we'll be helping you hone in on some of the 'best buys' to expect from our exhibitors, from top recommended clothes, boats, and hardware to boardsports, holidays, and courses.

Here we take a sneak peek at some of the standout clothing offerings that you can find around the stands.

Shoe-stoppers

Get style and substance from Sebago (stand G22), the RYA Official Supplier and Event Partner of the RYA Dinghy & Watersports Show 2024.

Sebago's Portland Martellato design is characterised by a premium full-grain leather upper, treated with a hammered finish and supported by a non-slip rubber sole that guarantees optimal grip on all surfaces.

Also on the Sebago stand will be the Schooner vintage leather boat shoe, conditioned with a combination of oils and waxes, then hand-sewn with craftsmanship. Waterproof and non-marking, the antislip soles offer stable grip in all weather conditions.

Update your dinghy footwear with Typhoon International on stand Q23. Check out their Raceline4 Boot, the Raceline4 is a durable and easy entry hike boot. The lace up fastening with ankle strap creates the ultimate fit and support. The protective ribbed upper allows for excellent grip on the toe straps when you need it the most.

Start the sailing season in style

Stay cosy with the ultimate cold-weather sailing system at Pinnell & Bax (stand M20). Gill's new ZenTherm 2.0 Top and Suit is available in a range of fits suitable for men, women and junior. This redesigned favourite uses innovative materials to keep you warm, dry and protected.

Bag a bargain base layer at Sailing Chandlery (stand H32) who'll be offering significant savings on older models of Zhik Superwarm and Microfleece wetsuits and tops with a 40% discount off the RRP exclusively for the show weekend.

Typhoon International presents the Caliso3 ECO range of wetsuits on stand Q23, combining engineered technology with expert styling to make them a favourite with amateurs and professionals alike, specifically designed towards sailing. Contour seaming and ergonomic design offer movement, flexibility and stretch.

Startline style

A favourite among the Pinnell & Bax team and designed in partnership with the British Sailing Team, Musto's Flexlite Alumin 3.0 Hikers, have been proven in tough race conditions. With Kevlar reinforced knees and glass fibre battens they offer the ultimate in protection while sailing. The flexibility in wear is provided by articulated panelling and body-mapped neoprene giving stretch in key areas.

Rooster® (stand N40) invite you to check out their Combi glove, blending the insulating qualities of their Neoprene with the wind protection properties from their Aquafleece® fabric to create the ideal winter glove. The mitten is an additional feature to help remove windchill in between races or on the coach boat, when your fingers are not being used - this can then tuck away neatly into a handy pocket on the top of the glove when not in use.

Stay safe

The Rooster® Race Armour Buoyancy Aid can be found on (stand N40) and is a low profile neoprene buoyancy aid, specifically developed to fit snugly in all the right places. Unique to Rooster, this CE12402-5 level 50 certified buoyancy aid is complemented by minimalist styling to match the maximum kit combinations.

Try the Chesil 50N Buoyancy aid out for size, from Typhoon International on stand M20. This buoyancy aid stands out with a high cut and reflectivity features and is designed specifically for sailors who demand minimum bulk and maximum freedom of movement. Using a super soft fabric with ergonomically shaped PVC foam, this is Typhoon's premium range designed with comfort and performance in mind.

Look good in layers

Check out the iconic waterproof, windproof and durable Aquafleece® from Rooster® on stand N40. The soft and fluffy teddy lining at the inside of the robe can be fully removed from the jacket, giving you the ability to wash it and keep it fresh, and it's made from recycled polyester.

Take a trip to Barracuda Bay on stand K12, where they will be unveiling the cutting-edge Neoprene Hoodie, crafted with premium 2mm Yamamoto neoprene for superior insulation. Embrace style and warmth with sleek, black fabric, accented by vibrant, orange stitching and branding. Defy the cold in comfort - this hoodie offers not only protection but a bold, modern look for all your wintery, watery adventures.

Aqua accessories

Shore2Sea on stand E12 will be presenting their funky dry bags in various designs and sizes, perfect for keeping valuables dry onboard or overboard. These bags feature detachable double straps, allowing them to be worn as a rucksack or across the body. Explore the special show-only offers by visiting the shore2sea booth.

Azure Wear UK on stand I8, introduce their new Azure Sailing Gloves, designed to be stopwatch-friendly and available in a range of colours. With a strong Amara palm and double stitching, these gloves also come in an all-black variant with Amara and grip material.
