On the third day of the FAREAST 28R European Sailing Championship in Limassol, a dynamic and challenging day unfolded as the wind conditions shifted throughout the races. Starting at a robust 20-22 knots with the wind angle close to 80 degrees, it gradually shifted to 100 degrees after the second race. The third race encountered winds of 17-18 knots, and by the fourth, it moderated to 14-15 knots.

The competition showcased both the unpredictability of the wind and the skills of the sailors. Despite Par Svardson remaining on the top of the rankings, he experienced a setback in the second race, losing several positions. As a result, Ryzkhov Nikolai is following close behind.

The subsequent races saw boats in closer proximity, intensifying the competition. The day presented a spectacle of competitive and impressive sailing, with participants navigating through varying wind conditions to showcase their prowess on the water. The following races are surely going to be thrilling.

Overall results after 9 races:

1. Par Svardson (SWE) - 8.0
