Parkstone Yacht Club, as organiser of the Poole Bay Autumn Series, is delighted to announce that Salcombe Gin will be title sponsors for the series, which runs from October 8th to December 10th.

The sponsorship will highlight Salcombe Gin's new partnership with RNLI, which includes 10% of net sales per bottle donated to this incredible organisation from two spirits: Salcombe Gin 'Four Seas' RNLI Edition and Salcombe Rum 'Island Street' RNLI Edition.

It is particularly fitting that Salcombe Gin are sponsoring the series, noting the company's nautical heritage and ocean-focused sustainability initiatives. It is one of the very few waterside located distilleries in the world, directly accessible by boat! The company also donates 1% of net sales from two award-winning craft gins: Salcombe Gin 'Start Point' and Salcombe Gin 'Rosé Sainte Marie' to the Marine Conservation Society to help protect and regenerate the marine environment.

Two races will be run on each of the nine Sundays, with the first start inside the harbour at 10:05, using Parkstone's new 9m Cheetah catamaran committee boat. Yachts will then race through the harbour entrance and out into Poole Bay, using a number of the fixed racing marks, before finishing on a committee boat line. The second race will then start from the same line, using fixed and laid marks to ensure proper beats are provided. The aim is to complete racing by around 12:30, to allow crews to enjoy some well-earned refreshment back at Parkstone Yacht Club's excellent clubhouse.
