America starts best - Snow + Agnese in lead - three in top 12

Nevin Snow and Mac Agnese (USA) won two of their three qualifying races to share the overall lead as their American teammates are also each in the top twelve, setting up the USA well for Olympic Qualifying.

Snow is the US college sailor of the year and has had flashes of brilliance in the 49er but also and up and down career so far. Six winners from six races to kickstart FX Worlds

Plenty of teams showed up on day 1 of the 2023 Sailing World Championship, and three teams sit atop the leaderboard on three points. Belgians Isaura Maenhaut with Anouk Geurts capped a day starting with two seconds with a win for a dream start to their Paris 2024 Qualification campaign. The pair were very young at their first games in Tokyo, but have been steadily moving up the leaderboard all quadrennial and are verging on contender status... read on.
