Virage Yachts launches innovative shared ownership opportunity with Virage 40 GT model

by Virage Yachts 2 Aug 2023 13:41 BST

Virage Yachts, the new trailblazing British nautical brand, is proud to announce the unveiling of its groundbreaking inclusive shared ownership structure, introducing the exclusive Virage Circle.

With the introduction of its debut model, the Virage 40 GT, the company is not only offering a remarkable yacht but also revolutionising the way yacht enthusiasts can enjoy ownership.

Led by visionary founder Guy Smallridge, Virage Yachts is a dynamic and forward-thinking company with a global vision, dedicated to enhancing clients' leisure time and investment value. Drawing from extensive insights gained from yacht crews, owners, and successful yacht brand entrepreneurs, the concept of Virage Yachts has brought together a team of inspired professionals to create the first ring of the Virage Circle. As the Circle grows, the brand's allure will further expand, creating a robust network and lifestyle that benefits all owners involved.

The unique ownership experience within the Virage Circle is facilitated by purchasing either a 25% or 50% share in the remarkable Virage 40 GT, providing access to one or two weeks of usage per month. This innovative arrangement caters to a wider audience, offering an easier and more accessible way to own a yacht. The expenses related to ownership are streamlined into a simple, fixed monthly payment, which includes berth, insurance, guardianage, engine service, and antifouling—everything except fuel, oil, and your laundry.

Alongside seamless management, Virage owners gain access to the exclusive Virage Circle APP, a powerful control panel and social network that unlocks a world of possibilities. Owners can explore new destinations by exchanging allocated weeks with like-minded owners in different locations, adding variety and flexibility to their boating experiences. The Virage Circle APP also facilitates communication with the guardianage company, handling warranty and service requests, while offering access to additional services such as captain and crew hire, airport transport, provisioning, and more—all thoughtfully integrated into the platform for a complete, cohesive, and convenient experience.

The Virage 40 GT, recently docked in Port Grimaud in the bay of St Tropez, has been meticulously designed by the Virage team to enhance the joyous and carefree nature of ownership. With a sleek design, exceptional performance, and spacious comfort, this 40-foot sport walk-around yacht offers sumptuous accommodation for up to four guests in two elegantly appointed guest cabins, complemented by a beautifully designed head with a separate shower. On deck, the yacht boasts ample entertaining space for up to ten people, featuring forward and aft sun pads, a dining table, and a wet bar equipped with a BBQ, sink, and ample refrigeration. With a top speed surpassing 40 knots, the Virage 40 GT is perfectly suited for cruising the French Riviera, the Balearic Islands, and the Florida Keys—providing owners with unforgettable experiences, made possible through the Virage Circle.

Founder Guy Smallridge expressed his excitement about the launch, stating, "Virage Yachts is a pioneering platform that opens up the yachting ownership experience to a wider audience, bringing in a new wave of boaters who value convenience, flexibility, and fun, empowering them to enjoy the benefits of yacht ownership with more confidence and fewer burdens."
