D-Zero European and UK National Championship 2024 to be held at Weymouth

2024 is an exciting year for the Devoti D-Zero Class in the UK: our first European Championships, our 10th Anniversary of the first UK National Championships and our first chance to invite all the previous national champions to compete at the WPNSA to prove who is the "D-Zero Champion of Champions".

The Europeans will be a full four day event consisting of up to 15 races and will incorporate a National Championships of three day duration with up to ten races. Racing will be inside or outside of Weymouth harbour run by the excellent team at the WPNSA.

We are expecting 60 boats and some first class racing and onshore evening social activities so get the date in your diary and watch the website and social media for more news.

Zippy Zero reports, "Life sucks, folks" It's a big hello from Zippy the D-Zero in my first report of this year. The event was the D-Zero Northern Championships, held at a new venue for us at Annandale Sailing Club, 4 miles West of Lockerbie in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. Second event of the national traveller series in sunny Kent Saturday 13th April saw the second event of the D-Zero national traveller series held at Bough Beech SC in sunny Kent. A big entry expected at the Weymouth & Portland National Sailing Academy in June 2023 isn't over and the D-Zeros are planning another great year in 2024. We're all set for our inaugural European Championship and our 10th Anniversary National Championship - heck we're nearly becoming establishment in the dinghy racing world.
