Renowned Australian meteorologist Will Oxley, sailing in the Rolex Fastnet Race aboard Chris Sheehan’s Warrior Won explains his thinking on the weather routing implications for navigation, the challenges of getting out of the Solent in the forecasted heavy airs start and the need to adapt as the race progresses, given the complex weather patterns expected across the race course.
