McConaghy is delighted to announce its appointment as the exclusive build partner for the next generation of Infiniti 52 racing yachts.

The Infiniti 52 is designed and engineered to deliver next level offshore racing performance. Built around a highly efficient transverse DSS foil, the Infiniti 52 provides proven performance without the risk and cost of more complex class-driven foil solutions.

The 52ft yacht has proven to be an ideal size, performing successfully both inshore racing and offshore, regularly achieving 30-knot speeds. It is large enough to sail comfortably for an overnight, but light enough to exhilarate and excite. The DSS foil provides the Infiniti 52 significant righting moment allowing the yacht to be sailed with a smaller crew, sometimes half the number of a comparable yacht, increasing competitive efficiencies.

The Infiniti 52 provides owners with a highly competitive and comfortable yacht that can be raced without the need for a full professional crew of 10+.

The Infiniti 52 is the first racing yacht to be designed, engineered and built to take full advantage of Doyle Sails' Cableless technology. An ergonomic deck, complete with Harken air winches and deck gear, is complemented by a refined interior that will make oceanic and offshore racing an experience to be enjoyed rather than endured. With an emphasis on watertight and reliable systems, comfortably sized bunks for off watch hours, and impeccable ergonomics, the Infiniti sets a new offshore standard in the 52-foot range.

"No one has more experience in building racing yachts of this size and we have complete confidence that the next generation of Infiniti 52s will benefit from being built by McConaghy. The collaboration will enable us to bring a Grand Prix offshore racing yacht to the market at a competitive price point. Equally, the partnership between the two companies is already reaping rewards as we review how to optimise structures and details in the build of the Infiniti 52." - Gordon Kay, Founder of Infiniti Yachts

"A collaboration with Infiniti Yachts is a no brainer for McConaghy. The Infiniti range pushes the evolution of yacht racing performance by harnessing DSS foils in parallel with cutting edge hull lines. The result is a super light and strong yacht that has distinct righting moment and power advantages. With McConaghy's track record in high-performance yacht construction, the end product will turn heads in speed and performance." - Mark Evans, Group Director, McConaghy.
