Newport launches new Bluetooth Lithium Batteries at ICAST 2023

by Newport Vessels 12 Jul 2023 19:07 BST

Newport, a leading innovator of clean electric technology in the boating and angling industry, is proud to introduce its all-new Bluetooth Lithium Batteries - showcasing advanced lightweight lithium battery technology that features LiFePO4 cell construction and Bluetooth connectivity to empower anglers with a complete, seamless solution for electric outboard motors.

Newport launched its NT300 Electric Outboard Motor and NK300 Electric Kayak Motor earlier this year, two next-generation designs rivaling the performance of traditional gas-powered motors without the noise, maintenance and harmful emissions that impact small waterways and shallow water habitats. As the brand's latest clean energy innovation, the Newport Bluetooth Lithium Battery line of products further underscores this commitment to enhance every aspect of the fishing experience while pioneering a more sustainable future on the water.

"We're proud to kick off ICAST with our latest product debut, delivering the ultimate power source for serious anglers who demand maximum performance from their equipment," says Josh Neville, head of marketing at Newport. "Newport's Bluetooth Lithium Batteries offer a totally redefined experience free from the bulk, weight and guesswork of traditional batteries. With powerful high-tech features and Bluetooth precision, our customers can fish harder, longer, and with more confidence."

Newport Bluetooth Lithium Battery (24V50Ah, 36V30Ah, 36V40Ah)

Newport Bluetooth Lithium Batteries deliver lightweight, cutting-edge performance with advanced technology for maximum power without interruption. Showcasing three versatile power options (24V50Ah, 36V30Ah and 36V40Ah), each battery is equipped with mobile-enabled Bluetooth monitoring - allowing anglers to connect with real-time battery status updates directly from their smartphone or compatible device using the exclusive Newport Battery app, available for both iOS and Android. Newport's built-in Battery Management System (BMS) actively monitors and regulates battery functions for optimized performance and longevity to power extended fishing adventures. Intelligent design features also highlight LiFePO4 cell construction with integrated charging circuitry, as well as a compact water-resistant design for easy portability. Newport Bluetooth Batteries retail for an industry-leading MSRP of $929 (24V50Ah), $849 (36V30Ah) and $1,149 (36V40Ah), respectively.

Delivering optimized performance tailored for Newport motors, each Bluetooth Lithium Battery is also available for a bundled price ranging from $1,828 - $2,348 MSRP when purchased together with the NK180, NKT00 or NK300 electric powered kayak motors at newportvessels.com.
