The Portuguese Junior and Senior Championship took place at Clube Naval de Cascais, bringing together over 150 sailors from 28 different clubs.

The event featured seven classes - ILCA4, ILCA6, ILCA7, 420, IQFoil Open, IQFoil Youth, and Hansa - and the competitors faced a wide range of conditions over the four days of racing, from 5 to 20 knots, from rain to intense sunshine.

In the ILCA4 class, the winner was the Dutch sailor Boudie Van Dishoeck. Ruben Ribeiro claimed the title of Portuguese ILCA4 Champion, while Júlia Cardoso became the Portuguese ILCA4 Sub-19 Champion.

In the ILCA6 class, João Pontes was unbeatable and won all eight races, securing the titles of overall and junior champion with a lead of over 20 points. Luísa Peres, who finished in third place, was the top female sailor.

The competition in the ILCA7 class was intense until the end, with José Mendes taking the top spot on the podium by winning the last race.

In the 420 class, Beatriz Cintra and Rita Munhá settled the title race by winning both races on the final day, finishing in first place. In the Junior category, the victory went to Afonso Munhá and Duarte Reis, while Miguel Sousa and Érica Porto emerged as the top mixed-gender team.

In the Hansa class, an adapted sailing class, João Pinto led throughout and secured the title by winning seven out of eight races.

In the IQFoil Open class, the great winner was João Rodrigues, the Portuguese athlete with the most Olympic appearances. In the Youth fleet, Ricardo Correia finished first, and Madalena Freitas was the top female competitor.

In addition to the Portuguese Sailing Federation, the event received support from Fidelidade, FPV's sponsor for over 20 years, as well as the Câmara Municipal Cascais and Turismo de Cascais. The event also obtained a silver sustainability certification from Sailors for The Sea.
