The UK Fireball fleet is returning to Torbay for this year's National Championship. Last time we were there in 2019, the club laid on excellent racing, sunshine, wind and great food. We're hoping for a repeat this year! We are also delighted that Gul is again sponsoring the event providing vouchers for the winners in the gold Silver & Bronze fleets and additional prizes too.

Gul is a local company to this event, with its premises just across the bay in Paignton, and they have let us know that they will be joining us at the event to showcase their new range of kit and to answer any questions or take feedback on Gul sailing gear.

During the event, Royal Torbay Yacht Club is hosting a three course Class Dinner, which is included in the entry fee for competitors; additional tickets can be purchased for friends and family.

Royal Torbay Yacht Club has set up an event web page were you can see the all the information about the event and enter online: rtyc.org/event/fireball-national-championship. There's early-bird entry fee up to midnight on Wednesday 31st May, with additional discounts for Under 26 sailors and classic boats (just select the relevant category from the pull-down menu), so don't delay, enter now!

To be eligible to compete in the Nationals, we require both helm and crew to be full members of the UK Fireball Association - see our website for how to join.
