Starcross YC to host a Solo, Laser & Phantom Open on 24th June

Once again, Starcross Yacht Club located on the West Bank of the River Exe in Devon has programmed our annual one day Solo and Laser Open event for this year on June 24th. This year Starcross is also hosting the club's Phantom fleet's inaugural class open.
The starting format will cover three starts with three races scheduled for the day's racing. Regrettably, the Laser racing will be for the Laser and Standard, ILCA7, Radial and ILCA6 rigs only. Last years event was a tremendous success, sailed in glorious sunshine and perfect sea breeze and we are very much hoping for a repeat of the same sailing conditions - fingers very firmly crossed.
Online registration will be available in due course, along with the NOR and SI's - both available via the clubs website under the Opens tab.
The competitors briefing is scheduled for 09.15, with three B2B races programmed. The entry fee is £15.00 payable on registration and entry on the day. Contactless payment will be available on the day.
We very much look forward to welcoming back both past and new sailors to our club, where you will be assured of a warm reception and welcome, where you will experience some excellent sailing and racing, run by our RYA qualified Race Officer, Russ Gibbs and his experienced team.
