Will Harris joins #TeamMusto as new ambassador

Team Malizia co-skipper, Will Harris (GBR), has been announced as the newest #TeamMusto ambassador, in a deal which will see him kitted out in the world's number one performance sailing brand.
Harris (29) from Weybridge, UK, has been co-skipper of Team Malizia with Boris Herrmann since 2019, racing all legs of The Ocean Race 2022-23 and taking the reins as skipper for the Itajaí - Newport leg, leading the crew to a second place finish. Prior to joining Team Malizia, he competed in the Figaro class, winning the Rookie category in his first year (2016) and secured wins in the 2021 Class 40 Fastnet Race, and the 2020 IRC 1 Overall Caribbean 600.
Harris has gained an excellent reputation in offshore racing and as a navigator, finishing third in both the 2022 Défi Azimut (IMOCA) and The Ocean Race Europe 2021 (VO65). He has competed most of the major offshore sailing races including the Rolex Fastnet Race and the Transat Jacques Vabre in 2019 but now his sights are firmly set on the 2028 Vendée Globe.

Leg 5 of The Ocean Race 2022-23 leaves Newport on Sunday 21 May, heading to Aarhus, Denmark. Will Harris will be co-skippering Musto sponsored (via German distributor Frisch) Team Malizia with Boris Herrmann. Musto also sponsors US-based 11th Hour Racing Team, winners of the Itajaí - Newport leg of the race.
