Twenty-one women's teams. 110+ sailors. All that was left for an amazing weekend of sailing was for the host club- CNM (Club Nautique Morgien)- to pay enough homage (gallons of good Swiss red wine) to Neptune to ensure the weather was beyond perfect... or, at least good enough. With classic Swiss-like precision and impeccable organization, the CNM did everything humanly possible to ensure the women were enjoying themselves, comfortable, and had first-class, evenly-matched J/70 one-design sailboats to do battle in.

In the end, even without wind on the second day, the Swiss J/70 Sailing League was writing the history of women's sailing in Switzerland. The winner of the first ACT is the RCB team (Regattaclub Bodensee) with Livia Naef, Nathalie Winiger, Tessa Egli, and Lea Rüegg. They're qualified for the final of the Women's SAILING Champions League 2023, which will take place from September 14 to 17 in Sundy, Denmark.

Also qualifying was the RCO team (Regattaclub Oberhofen), which finished second. Their team consisted of Lisa Thönen (skipper) and Romea Fries, Salvina Fries, and Selina Adam. Third was Yachtclub Bielersee, with Lea Tschudi, Dominique Muller, and Chantal Suri.

During the successful pre-regatta women's J/70 sailing camp, 46 women sailors were learning the ropes of how to sail a J/70 faster and perform efficient boat-handling maneuvers. Head Coach Silke Basedow and Gaelle Cevey taught intensively and with great enthusiasm. The progress made by all teams over the three days was visible and boded well for the women participants for better sailing and racing.
