With long range, high speed, and superior seakeeping, foiling electric Candela C-8 will change boating forever. Together with its Spanish partner, Marina Marbella, Candela debuts the C-8 at Palma International Boat Show from April 27 to 30. Test drives will be available.

Using hydrofoil technology to drastically reduce energy consumption, Candela boats are the only long-range, high-speed alternative for boaters who want to reach destinations around Mallorca or along the Costa del Sol. Marina Marbella covers both the mainland and the Balearic Islands, with offices in Marbella, Sotogrande, Mallorca, and Ibiza, making it the perfect partner for Candela in promoting sustainable boating in Spain.

Featuring a 69 kWh battery pack from the electric car maker Polestar, the Candela C-8 has a range of 57 nautical miles at a speed of 22 knots, allowing for a full day of cruising around your favorite bays in Mallorca without having to recharge the battery. If you're on the mainland, starting from Marbella, you can reach both Gibraltar in the west and Malaga in the east in just an hour and a half. And from Barcelona, you can reach Lloret del Mar without worrying about the battery going flat under way.

The Candela C-8 flies above the waves on computer-guided hydrofoils, using a flight controller computer to maintain the boat's stability. Once you reach 16 knots, the hull leaves the water, and the energy consumption is reduced by 80%. You'll also enjoy a smoother, quieter ride, leaving behind the bumpy waves and the noise of the water against the hull. To moor or trailer the C-8, simply push a button on the screen to retract the foil system into the hull.

The Candela C-8 is available in different layout versions. The daycruiser features a front cabin with an optional Hard-top or T-Top configuration. Candela also recently released the C-8 CC, a Center Console version. The Candela C-8 CC can accommodate up to eight people seated facing forward during foiling. When you arrive at your destination, the aft sofas can be used to create a dinner space around a table for six persons or transformed into a sunbed that is close to 3 meters long. The bow area features an enclosed head, sofas, ample storage space, and an optional electric windlass that can be controlled from the screen.

Made from 100% carbon fiber, the C-8 CC and DC start at €330,000 excluding VAT and come with a 15.4" navigational screen and free over-the-air updates of the User Interface and Flight controller, which will unlock new features over the boat's lifetime.

Marina Marbella is a family-owned business with over 50 years of experience in the industry. With several establishments in Spain, Marina Marbella offers a network of marine experts who are experienced in sales, after-market service, and customer experience.

Candela and Marina Marbella will exhibit the Candela C-8 DC at the Palma International Boat Show 2023, from April 27-30 in Palma's Moll Vell.
