GP14 Northern Championship to be held at Budworth

Budworth SC, together with the GP14 Association, will be hosting this year's GP14 Northern Championship on 3rd & 4th June 2023 and it will also double up as this year's Budworth Open on what promises to be a fantastic weekend of fleet racing.

With over 30 entries already, this is lining up to be an unmissable event for those in the GP class.

Saturday night will see live music and entertainment together will an evening meal and Budworth Bar games to enjoy included in the price of entry. The galley will be serving hot food and drink all weekend to keep the sailors fuelled and ready to go.

There will be free camping for tents/ campervans and motorhomes on site for the weekend too, making it excellent value for money alongside the idyllic setting of Budworth mere for just £50 per boat.

There will be prizes for Gold, Silver and Bronze fleets so a chance for GP14 of all abilities to win amazing prizes that any sailing enthusiast will appreciate. All are welcome so why not come and see why Budworth won the RYA Club of the Year in 2022.

For those looking to some extra practise and the chance to learn new skills, Budworth SC are also hosting a GP14 fleet training day on Friday 2nd June with expert coaching to get the most out of your sailing just in time to put it all into practise for the weekend Championships.
