Lymington Town Sailing Club Open Day

by Emma Bonner 29 Mar 2023 14:59 BST 15 April 2023

Are you looking for a new way to get outdoors and get active or find something you can enjoy together with your family or on your own? If the answer is yes, Lymington Town Sailing Club is inviting you and your family to come to our Open Day on Saturday 15th April.

Whether you're completely new to the sport or looking to get back on the water, our Open Day is the perfect time to give it a go. We have a full programme of sailing and watersports activities planned for the 2023 season from juniors to adult opportunities for any age, from beginner to experienced racers.

"We're inviting the local community to come down and watch some sailing activities and see what Lymington Town Sailing Club has to offer and get involved. Who knows, you might just get hooked! Having just been awarded the RYA Club of the Year, we are keen to show off all the Club has to offer" commented Tony Evans, Commodore.

Starting at 10am on Saturday 15th April, there will be a whole host of activities taking place, including a visit from a John Lewis Partnership Sailing Club yacht which will be moored on our Club pontoon for visitors to discuss sailing opportunities with crew members.

Sailing can be as physical or as relaxing as you want to make it, you can sail with others and make new friends or on your own, do it competitively or potter about and just enjoy the gentle escape of being outside in the elements.

Alongside the water-based activities, the Club also offers a wide range of social activities and events from Yoga classes, Cycling Group, Weekend Walkers, Book and Bridge Clubs to themed suppers, winter talks, Band 'n' BBQs and children's parties.

For full details about what's going on at Lymington Town Sailing Club visit www.ltsc.co.uk or follow the Club on Facebook.
