SailProof tablets for marine navigation: New 8 inch models coming soon

by SailProof 14 Mar 2023 18:40 GMT
Sailproof Tablet - New SP08 © SailProof

Our new 8-inch tablets will be available at the end of March.

We are pleased to announce the arrival of two models; the SP08x will be the fastest tablet on the market dedicated to marine navigation, with an 8-core processor reaching 2.4 GHz, 5G, and Wi-Fi 6.0 connectivity with 6+128 GB memory.

The price will be €975, including VAT ((€805,79 / £720 / $869 taxes excluded).

Meanwhile, the SP08s replaces the current tablet at no increase in price (799 € VAT incl. - €660.33/£590/$720 taxes excl.), despite a new processor, more memory, and Android 12.

All our tablets offer excellent robustness (Gorilla Glass screen and MIL-STD-810G drop resistance), IP67 waterproofing, an anti-glare screen, wet and glove touch compatible, an exceptional brightness of 1000 NITS (truly readable in full sunlight), a long-lasting 9800 mah battery, an extra wide temperature range (-10 to 50 degreesc) and a choice of connection ports unmatched on the market. We also offer a 10-inch tablet with similar features.

Since our launch in 2020, our tablets have been adopted by several professional offshore racing skippers (IMOCA, Class 40, Figaro Bénéteau...). Still, they can also be found on Maxi 100 sailing boats as well as in fishing fleets, charter companies, etc. We have customers in more than 40 countries on 6 continents.

Never hesitate if you want to test one of our tablets. Just send us an email.
