39° Primo Cup 2023 at Yacht Club de Monaco - Day 1

by Alexander Panzeri 4 Mar 2023 06:26 GMT 2-5 March 2023

I'm very clear and straight: I'm one of those that marry the philosophy "you sail with what you have", so, as I said yesterday it's a decade that I know YCM and 43 years that I'm on the Côte d'Azur, I will postone my thoughts to tomorrow hoping the wind will give us a race!

The sea today has been choppy and the breeze has been not good, so NO race!

The good, I discovered, inherited from the J70 World Championship, the club has added a real PRO meteo report during the skipper meeting (the word Gradient it's the sign...) and the support from the Velamaina, they brought a lot of material to support the racers as you can see from the picture. Two things I always suggest to all clubs I visited, and YCM is one of the figure making the road to the future of Sailing.

We have to hope tomorrow will be good, or it will be difficult to find inspiration to shoot the empty port Hercule...

p.s.: disclaiment: I'm not in any way connetted to Velamania or other sponsor on the field!
