Hardware makes deploying a bimini easy, even in a breeze

by Accon Marine 18 Feb 2023 17:10 GMT

Deploying and adjusting a bimini or sunshade can be a challenge, especially on a breezy day. With the two-part 415-TB Quick Release Bimini Strap Turnbuckle Hinge from Accon Marine, it's as easy as snapping in the post and pulling the strap taut. With a slide of the release button, the hardware disconnects and the top is ready to fold for storage. And because everything stays attached, there are no pins or screws to lose.

Like all Accon hardware, the 415-TB is made from polished 316 stainless steel for a premium appearance and long service life. The low-profile base has rounded edges so it can be stepped on with bare feet. The post hinge has a sure-grip checkered bar slide that's simple to use and secures straps up to 25mm wide.

Using the 415-TB Quick Release Bimini Strap Turnbuckle Hinge is easy: the post is popped into the base and the strap is tightened. While in use, the attachment is completely secure, even in gusty weather. To remove, tension is eased and the lock button is slid to release the fitting.

The 91.4mm L x 30.4mm W x 13.7mm H base of the Accon Marine 415-TB Quick Release Bimini Strap Turnbuckle Hinge surface mounts, so cutouts aren't needed. It installs using basic tools and two #10 screws. Additional posts are available to fit the Accon Marine Quick Release Hinge for Straps and 401-Series Bimini Hinge Base.
