Anura NZ, manufacturer of high-performance amphibious systems, and Sea-It, producers of a powerful online visualization app, announced today they are now taking orders for their factory-installed amphibious solution at Bluewater4x4.com. This represents a ground-breaking new option for both custom and volume boat builders.

Providing boat builders with the ability to offer customers the option of a wheel system for the ultimate flexibility both on and off the water, the Bluewater4x4 solution greatly increases docking and storage options and allows for exploration where others can't. The solution eliminates the need for marina slips, trailers or other costly infrastructure, such as docks and lifts - which recent events reinforce are also vulnerable to violent weather events.

The ultimate amphibious experience for boat owners, the Generation 2 Anura enablement solution delivers an unparalleled, one-of-a-kind boating experience, designed to accommodate a range of hull types without requiring changes to a vessel's mold. The best-in-class Anura™ S25 amphibious technology is constructed from marine-grade components, capable of withstanding harsh environmental conditions, the solution provides ample stability and traction, optimized for varying surface and ground pressure. Delivering speeds up to 5.5 MPH, the Anura hydraulic platforms, based on the latest technology, have the torque required for a responsive user experience.

"Adding amphibious capabilities to boats is an obvious next step in vessel design," said Darren Leybourne, manager, Anura NZ.

Leveraging the power of Sea-It's advanced visualization application, currently being upgraded to version 2.0, customers can easily visualize the option of an Anura wheel system during the purchase process at the same time they select other vessel options such as interior layout and colors. Creating an unparalleled 'WOW' factor, the innovative software greatly enhances and simplifies the sales process by allowing customers to visualize all design possibilities, ensuring they have a say in the look of their boat from stem to stern.

"With our advanced visualization software, customers can see their boats come alive during the design process," said Bryan Moseley, owner and founder, Sea-It. "There's nothing quite like seeing landing gear added to your vessel with the click of a button. Our online application increases customer interaction and ownership satisfaction, while delivering fully qualified leads for builders and dealers."

With more than 250 systems already in the market, the Anura amphibious system is currently available for order. The first vessel was prototyped and built on the Bluewater 2550, deep vee, center console. Offering more cockpit than larger boats in its class, running like a 28-footer. Features include gunwale boards, significant storage, a modular electric system and a 35 gallon live well, to name a few.

"Bluewater has built a reputation for high quality builds and we are proud to be the first chosen manufacturer to introduce the Anura amphibious system as a factory-installed option for our customers," said Paul Skilowitz, owner, Bluewater Sportfishing Boats. "We believe in designing boats without limits, and that includes not restricting them to the water. I lost my boat and pier in the last major hurricane in the Bahamas and can see all sorts of uses for this technology."
