Harken Zircon blocks - it's all about the feel

So much of sailing is about feel. Whether you're on the helm, or a trimmer on a spinnaker sheet, to get every ounce of speed out of your boat, you need to know when the pressure changes as quickly as possible. Reacting to a gust or a wind shift can make the critical gains while others fall behind.

This is where Harken Zircon blocks come in, the most efficient small boat blocks that Harken have ever made. At their core are industrial ceramic ball bearings mounted inside caged races. Zircon bearings are 700% stronger in compression than equivalent stainless bearings and need less energy to start rolling.

The result is a block where you can feel the slightest breath of wind, while at the same time rely on having the absolute minimum of friction when the breeze fills in.

Available in 40mm and 57mm sizes as both single and double blocks with and without beckets. We'll be taking a closer look at Zircon during the RYA Dinghy & Watersports Show 2023, and so can you on the Harken stand E10. See for yourself on 25th & 26th February at Farnborough International.

Attendees to the show will have a chance to win a £500 Harken refit voucher - visit stand E10 to find out more!
