Dockmate®, manufacturer of advanced wireless remote-control systems for yachts, announced today it has hired Bill Karmis as National Sales Manager to better service its customers throughout the United States. In his new role, Karmis is tasked with directing the Dockmate team of inside and outside sales representatives across the United States, as well as growing and supporting Dockmate's dealer network.

With a diverse background spanning several industries over the past few decades, Karmis has built a solid background in sales. Joining the marine controls industry in 2012, his most recent position was with Xenta Systems as the manufacturer's representative for North America and the Caribbean.

"I am thrilled to be part of the Dockmate team," said Karmis. "Their energy and excitement is contagious and the product is well developed and has so much potential. It is an honor and a pleasure to be part of the growth of the brand."

"We are very impressed with Bill's diverse experience, reputation and existing relationships," said Marc Curreri, CEO, Dockmate US. "He has already established a great connection with our team. We are confident that he will be a valuable asset driving our sales efforts and growing our dealer network."

An avid boater since his early 20s, Karmis grew up in the Great Lakes region and now enjoys life fishing and boating on the west coast of Florida in Cape Coral.
