The second of the new South West RS Tera Squad training sessions was held on Saturday, this time at Starcross in association with SWYSA.

With light winds, clear blue sky and sun, 11 boats (6 RS Tera Sports and 5 RS Tera Pros) gathered for training lead by Class Association coach Dylan Collingbourne.

The light winds meant that only the morning was spent on the water, where the fleet worked on light wind techniques.

The afternoon was spent ashore, on a mix of theory and boat set up. The quality of Dylan's coaching was in evidence all day, as sailors at all levels developed skills and techniques.

It was lovely to welcome new sailors to the squad for this session, and there are now travellers from Wiltshire, Dartmouth and Fowey and all points in between. It's fantastic that the momentum of RS Teras in the South West is building.

The next session is a joint two-day weekend with the RS Tera Southern Squad at WPNSA on 26th & 27th November.
