Brownell Boat Stands & Equipment launches the BL8 Boat Lift System

by Brownell Boat Stands & Equipment 10 Nov 2022 18:56 GMT

Brownell Boat Stands & Equipment, manufacturer of the highest-quality boat storage equipment since 1954, announced today the release of its largest and most powerful boat lift, the BL8. Dubbed "The Beast", it is offered in two configurations, either manual hydraulic (#BL8) or air powered hydraulic (#BL8AIR) and can lift up to 8,000-pounds at full height. When used in a system of four lifts, the BL8 is capable of lifting a boat of up to 30,000 pounds from its trailer. The Beast is well-suited for boatyards, marinas, dealerships and builders. In conjunction with Brownell's boat stands and dollies, the lift makes boat show move-in a breeze.

"Marine industry professionals and the boating population find themselves in a perfect storm of record demand and workflow constraints," said Peter Hughes, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Brownell Boat Stands. "This requires more maintenance and storage space, and dedicated time in boatyards, dealers and marinas. Any way to make operations smoother, faster and safer will result in happier customers and staff. Where safety and quality stand first, Brownell products are the only 'Made in America' boat stands, lifts and dollies, and have a proven track record of never failing in our nearly 70 years of business. Products such as our BL8 give owners and staff the confidence that will keep business booming."

The BL8 has two arm positions allowing for a vertical lift of either 19- to 54-inches or 28- to 64-inches. Its incremental horizontal reach capacity allows 8,000-pounds at 10-inches, 6,000-pounds at up to 14-inches and 4,000-pounds at up to 18-inches. The BL8 requires no additional accessories and offers marinas and dealers greater flexibility and versatility to move a wide range of boats. Each system is designed to be operated safely by one or two people. Manufactured in the United States, product is in stock for immediate delivery with no wait for overseas shipping.

Brownell is dedicated to safety. Going beyond producing the world's safest and most reliable boat stands, the company offers an online safety training program for blocking and storing boats. The program is designed to clearly demonstrate the proper and safe operation of Brownell boat stands, and helps ensure the safety of new hires as well as seasoned staff who may need a refresher. A completion certificate is provided to those who pass the class. Ideal for HR and insurance files, the certification may also be used for continuing education credit.
