Ravi Parent and Severin Gramm battled their way to win the 2022 Immunolin F18 World Championship in Clearwater Beach, Florida. Parent and Gramm kept their focus after a rough start to their day when they crossed the finish line first but received a UFD for going over the line early at the start.

Australians Gavin Colby and Kai Colman took second, and Cruz Gonzalez Smith and Mariano Heuser finished third.

A large crowd of racers, their friends and families, the Race Committee, and volunteers filled the hotel's ballroom for the prize-giving dinner and last of the regatta's top-notch social events.

Vendors stepped up and donated items for a raffle that generated over $5,000, with proceeds going to the victims of Hurricane Ian.

F18 International Class President and one of the founders of the class, Olivier Bovyn, served as measurer for the regatta along with F18 USA President Steve Strobel and Pierre-Charles Barraud.

The Race Committee, under the direction of PRO Todd Fedyszyn, received a standing ovation for their flawless teamwork. Australian sailing legend John Forbes attended the regatta and was honored. Regatta chair Jill Nickerson recognized the sponsors and the team of volunteers she assembled from around the country who helped to make it a successful event. All the ingredients, especially the wind, came together for a memorable F18 World Championship.

And finally, thank you to each and every competitor who attended the event. None of this happens without you.
