As of Monday, the acquisition of Privilège Marine SAS by a consortium led by long-time CEO Gilles Wagner has been completed. As part of its portfolio strategy, HanseYachts AG has parted from its stake in the French catamaran manufacturer based in Port Olona, Les Sables d'Olonne. HanseYachts AG had concluded the agreement on a corresponding right to sell in June 2022.

"We are pleased that we have now finally completed this strategic portfolio realignment. This allows us to fully concentrate on our core brands. Our historically strong order book, measures to improve margins and also the new orders realised after the significant price increases form an excellent basis for this," says Hanjo Runde, CEO of HanseYachts AG.

Privilège Marine SAS had been part of the HanseYachts Group since 2019.
