The RWYC Allspars Final Fling set for 15th & 16th October

by Adrian Gray 1 Oct 15:27 BST 15-16 October 2022

On the weekend of the 15th and 16th October, The Royal Western Yacht Club Of England hosts the fourth year of the Allspars Final Fling Dinghy Regatta. After another successful event back in 2021, seeing more than 50 dinghies take to the water in Plymouth Sound from all over the country the club is excited to get the weekend under way in two weeks time.

This regatta alone highlights the huge interest that still exists for dinghy sailing around the UK and how great Plymouth Sound is for accommodating racing for a variety of boats and sizes with a large racecourse and ever-changing winds and tides which brings Plymouth into a league of its own.

The Final Fling requires huge manpower and support, which brings many clubs around Plymouth to get together to ensure safe and smooth racing afloat with a dedicated shore team which allows flexible, seamless and safe launch/recovery where everyone can benefit. The Royal Western welcomes all dinghies sailors near and far to join us for a weekend of great racing.

The Royal Western Yacht Club thanks 'allspars' for once again being title sponsors of the event, along with Marina Developments Ltd for their support.
