Summer Series at Chase Sailing Club - Overall

Summer Series racing at Chase SC © CSC

Once again it was the GP14 of Rob Stringer & Pete Tate that has taken the crown, although they were closely chased by the consistent Blaze of Gareth Hyland right up to the last day of racing.

However, Gareth did secure the fast fleet prize in his pursuit of the GP14.

Further down the field, a close battle between both Finn Watson & Elsa Minton in their Lasers continued throughout the summer, with Finn eventually taking the Laser fleet prize overall.

The Lasers will be the fleet to watch going in to the winter series!

The phantom fleet continued to have a strong showing, having up to seven boats out on a Saturday! After some great racing, Steve Turner took the fleet prize and fifth overall.

Thanks again to all the OODs and rescue crews who give up their time to organise the racing.
