Suntex Marina Investors, LLC (Suntex), the premier owner and operator of best-in-class marina properties, announced today the acquisition of Channel Club Marina located in Monmouth Beach, New Jersey.

"Channel Club Marina is an amazing location, offering a host of amenities in the very popular Jersey Shore area," said David Filler, Investments Partner, Suntex Marinas. "Having made a number of recent investments in the New Jersey and New York area, this property will be an excellent addition to the Suntex portfolio."

The Channel Club is a beautiful premier marina situated midway between New York City and Atlantic City. The four-acre facility on the Shrewsbury River is perfect as a destination marina or year-round boat docking and storage location. Installed in 2013, the floating dock system consists of four docks with more than 140 slips accommodating boats from 30- to 100-feet in length. Each slip has a state-of-the-art power pedestal with electric, water and cable.

The full-time dock master and seasonal dock attendants operate the fuel dock and provide arrival and departure assistance, as well as ice delivery and complimentary shuttle service to the nearby beach and town. The property also includes a full-sized pool and a poolside Tiki Bar, which is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Located on the Channel Club Marina grounds, there are two exceptional restaurants. The Beach Tavern is a full-service restaurant and cocktail lounge, open to the public for lunch and dinner seven days a week. At Abbiocco, you will enjoy authentic Italian culinary excellence, offering indoor and al fresco dining with Marina views. The marina is also home to the renowned Channel Club Caterers, an exquisite waterside location for weddings and private parties. Yacht sales & marine service is provided by Sandy Hook Marine Concierge, which is owned by Sandy Hook Yacht Sales. Full mechanical repairs, hauling and launching, boat detailing, winterizing and commissioning are among the services available.

"Suntex has established a reputation for offering guests exceptional customer service," said Bryan Redmond, CEO, Suntex Marinas. "We are looking forward to applying our proven management philosophy to the property and giving the discerning patrons of the Channel Club Marina an experience worth remembering."

The Suntex portfolio includes marinas located in Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Texas, Tennessee and Virginia.
