A day before the early entry deadline, the RS200 fleet are blown away by a 150-boat entry list for the Noble Marine Rooster Nationals Championships at Hayling Island, 21st-25th August!

The RS200 remains as popular as ever, with a good number of couples, parent-child and older teams, as well as the huge youth contingent that reads like a who's who of UK Youth Sailing, with more than one TeamGB sailor having said that the RS200 is the fleet they go to for big fleet, incredibly close racing and of course the legendary social scene.

There are still more sailors wanting to enter, and the class has issued a plea for those who are not coming to consider chartering their boats. Class Chair, Will Taylor said "I am getting a fair few people contacting me and asking if I know of any boats available." The arrangement is between the boat owner and the sailor, but a typical 'thank you' is the cost of a new jib.

Those on the entry list are reminded that to qualify for the early entry rate, they need to have entered and paid by midnight on 14th July, and that both helm and crew must be members of the RS Class Association (queries to please).
