Rooster are going great guns for this years Dinghy Show, with no less than 25 trained staff and one Ben McGrane the highly acclaimed boatwork 'Guru' of the 49er fleet. Ben will be positioned on a specially made splicing station onboard the rooster stand (C35 - under the rose window) where he'll be awaiting all your splicing and tapering requests!
We openly invite you to watch the free demonstrations from Ben on splicing techniques and pick and choose the ropes most suitable for your boat. Before your eyes Ben can taper your jib sheets or spinney sheets, all we need to know are the lengths you require. (quick get down the boat park!)
We'll be taking a large stock of English Braids, Marlow and Rooster ropes so you'll be utterly spoilt for choice. Perhaps you'd like to see how its done and maybe pick up a fidd and some rope from us, on stand C35 just under the Rose Window in the Great Hall, next to Ovington Boats.
If you want to see the type of splicing we can do please take a look at examples of his RS800 ropes.
We're looking forward to it!
