Canadian waterlife-brand, Mustang Survival, is pleased to announce the appointment of DutchMint as the distribution hub for its technical clothing range.

DutchMint is well-placed in the marine clothing sector as they are already European distributor for a variety of nautical and active leisure wear brands, focusing on an active lifestyle around the waterfront.

Having kicked off its European presence at the 2021 METSTRADE show in Amsterdam, Mustang Survival partnering with DutchMint is another mark in its journey to expand outside of North America. Having recently opened its first UK retail outlet, with chandlery-group YouBoat, the opportunity is now here for European retailers to become stockist of Mustang Survival's high-performance technical clothing.

"Partnering with DutchMint presents an excellent opportunity to begin engaging with the European market" said Matt Bridge, Wing Group's Global Commercial Director. "We are looking forward to working with them to expand our retail presence and enabling European boaters to access the quality and highly technical clothing from Mustang Survival."

Mustang Survival is now available to explore on DutchMint's website.

Live beyond land

Built on a legacy spanning over 50 years, Mustang Survival's technical clothing delivers confidence to those who live beyond land. Each product has been developed with the full support of the Mustang Waterlife studio, a testing facility and science lab designed to find the limits of material properties and test human physiology. Further backed with real-world testing, Mustang Survival's technical clothing challenges the norm and meets the needs marine professionals, government organisations, professional athletes, and explorers.

The new Mustang Survival apparel range

Mustang Survival is excited to be launching its range of technical clothing in the European market.

The Torrens Jacket (including the hooded version) is the mid-layer that keeps you on the water longer. Insulated with Polartec® Alpha®, it is quick-drying and highly breathable with a DWR finish to protect against light rain and spray.

For inshore environments, Mustang Survival has the Callan and Taku collection. The highly breathable and lightweight Callan products feature MarineSpec MP fabric and are great for all marine activities. The versatile Taku range uses a combination of MarineSpec SP and MarineSpec BP fabric to offer an excellent blend of breathability and abrasion, saltwater, and UV resistance. Taku keeps you protected when things pick up.

Their Meris and EP 6.5 Ocean Racing ranges are for offshore environments. Meris uses durable and highly waterproof MarineSpec BP fabric construction throughout, combined with SOLAS reflectivity for added safety in unrelenting water. The EP 6.5 Ocean Racing line is for anyone serious about being offshore or ocean racing. Constructed with Mil Spec 6.5 GORE-TEX®, a fabric initially exclusive to coastguard and military products, it makes the most rugged, waterproof shell available.

Manufactured and tested for performance at the Mustang Waterlife Studio, the Men's Hudson and Women's Helix Dry Suits make on-water activities available year-round. Users can choose between latex seals for maximum water protection or the innovative Closed Comfort System (CCS) with neoprene wrists and a quick venting neck seal solution. These dry suits are made from MarineSpec BP fabric and provide a highly versatile option for any adventure. The Kazan liner insulates the dry suits. The one-piece base layer eliminates bunching and cold spots, making it ideal for cooler temperatures.
