Huw Beare awarded Most Improved Junior Shield at Starcross Yacht Club

Huw Beare was awarded with coveted shield for most improved junior at Starcross Yacht Club on Friday 8th April. Huw, who sails a Topper, has been a stalwart member of SYC junior sailing for many years.

In 2021 he was selected to join the RYA Regional Training Group, travelling around the region to training and racing events. He has had some excellent results in 2021, including third in the SW Topper Championships at Paignton.

The shield is awarded annually to the junior who has shown the most progression and development.
