Expanding international availability of OSCAR products for the recreational and professional segments of the marine industry, BSB AI has partnered with worldwide maritime NavCom specialist Radio Holland as a distribution partner for OSCAR advanced collision avoidance systems. Effective immediately, Radio Holland will cover the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Egypt, South Africa and Greece in the growing OSCAR distribution network.

OSCAR stands for Optical System for Cognition and Ranging and is the first AI-based collision avoidance assistant for marine applications. OSCAR systems are available for pleasure, commercial and government vessels of all sizes. Once installed, they combine optical and thermal cameras with advanced machine vision to cover the gap between radar and AIS: OSCAR detects, identifies and monitors floating obstacles - large and small, day and night.

As an award-winning innovation with a huge promise for improved safety at sea, OSCAR is a perfect fit for the Radio Holland product portfolio. Radio Holland is the leading global provider of products, service and maintenance in the fields of NavCom, Connectivity, Integration, e-Navigation data & voyage optimization tools. Their service network covers an unrivalled 60+ locations along the world's major shipping routes, providing on-the-spot services with the highest first-time-fix rate in the industry.

"In Radio Holland we have found the perfect partner", says Christoph Ballin, Managing Partner of OSCAR. "It is a great pleasure to work with this exceptionally professional team to make OSCAR safety available for professional and recreational mariners in new, important markets."

Joachim de Jenlis, Regional Director of Radio Holland Group comments: "OSCAR closes a gap in situational awareness and safety at sea. The combination of Radio Holland and Oscar is providing added value to the maritime industry with quality products and service 24/7. We are looking forward towards a great new partnership with OSCAR."
