The Graduate Dinghy Association is celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Graduate dinghy in 2022. The jubilee events kick off at the RYA Dinghy and Watersports Show over the weekend of 26-27 February, so come along to Stand B62 to chat Grads and meet old friends and new.

The GDA is looking forward to welcoming you to our stand at the new venue in Farnborough which easily accessible by road and public transport.

The Grad stand will be manned by volunteers, including our 2021 National Champion Fresh Abendstern and past-President David Wilson on Saturday. And then on Sunday our Championship Secretary Maggie Murrell will be on hand to give you the latest on our Nationals which will be at Grafham Water on 9 & 10th July. Bob Murrell, our new Chair, will also be there to welcome you and answer your questions and generally bring you up to date with everything Graduate.

The stand theme will be the 70th anniversary and you will be able to compare G9, the oldest Grad known to be sailing, to John Clementson's G3009 a Rooster Grad. Come and check out the ultimate Grad setup!

As well as being our National Champion, Fresh is also our webmaster and he has done wonders to re-vamp the Grad website. You will be able to use QR codes to access the classified section to find your perfect Grad or to fill out your entry to the Nationals and lots, lots more.

GDA membership is always worthwhile and more than ever this year as the GDA has teamed up with Rooster Sailing and also Noble Marine Insurance to offer you cost effective Graduate ownership.

Please visit us on stand B62 to meet old friends and make new ones and spend the weekend reminiscing about this wonderful little dinghy designed all those years ago in 1952.
