Countdown to the Optimist and Starling 2022 Auckland Championships – ENTER NOW

Held annually on the waters of the Hauraki Gulf, the 2022 Auckland Optimist and Starling Championships is set to offer sailors and supporters superb sailing action from February 5th – 7th, (Waitangi weekend), off Narrow Neck Beach.

The regatta includes the bonus Ports of Auckland Auckland Anniversary Day Regatta run in conjunction on Monday 7th Feb for the Opti and Starling classes.

Wakatere Boating Club is proud to be the host club and official organisers of the Auckland Championship regatta.

This is the first major regatta of the season for the Optimist and Starling fleets so it’s a great opportunity to dust off, compete and catch up with mates from other clubs.

Notice of Race and competitor, volunteer, and support boat registration is now available on the Wakatere website. The regatta will operate in line with the NZ COVID-19 Protection Framework.

Please note the last day of January marks the final date for the normal entry fee to be applied so avoid that late fee, enter now here - wakatere.org.nz/2022-opti-and-starling-auckland-champs.
