Henri-Lloyd aren't participating in traditional 'Black Friday' discounting that encourages over consumption and increases the strain on our planet. Instead, 20% of all sales made online from Monday 22nd to Monday 29th November will be donated to ocean clean-up efforts to help protect the future of our seas.

In fact, the brand encourages not to buy what you don't need and repair what you have - but if you must buy, do so responsibly.

Striving towards a sustainable future, Henri-Lloyd are passionate about offering exceptional, quality clothing that lasts. Most importantly, the majority of products are made in European factories to decrease the carbon footprint as well as ensuring higher quality working conditions for factory workers. What's more, Henri-Lloyd no longer distribute through wholesale, cutting out the middlemen allows them to focus costs on sustainability goals as well as being able to offer customers the best possible prices everyday.

"For those of you who know our brand, you will know that the Oceans are central to our very DNA. Our Oceans are under stress through man-made activities and it is our mission to not only protect them but also to actively engage in projects that will clean and repair the damage." - Dan Williams, Brand Director.

Founded by Henri Strzelecki and his business partner, Angus Lloyd, in 1963 Henri-Lloyd design and build innovative sailing clothing to protect sailors and adventurers from the most extreme weather. Henri-Lloyd sell direct to customers through their own channels which allows the brand to focus on delivering on it's sustainability promises. By eliminating inflated retail prices that come with selling through wholesale, Henri-Lloyd are able to offer higher quality products at fair and affordable prices, so that quality investment pieces are available to all.
