The Shanghai Yacht Club (SYC), one of the pioneers in water sports in China, in cooperation with the demonstration zone of green and ecological development of the Yangtze River Delta, successfully hosted the second edition of the Yangtze River Delta Youth Sailing Cup on 29th - 31st of October, 2021.
With the support of Bright Dairy & Food as the official sponsor, more than 160 young participants from 12 different teams locked horns in Dianshan Lake. Not only did OP, TOPPER class and keel-boats set sail, but also more than 100 canoes paddled through the lake.
Sports competition aside, Dianshan Lake demonstrates ecologically friendly, harmonious and sustainable development in the area. Events like this signal the coming of a new era in China that will see sports as part of the everyday lifestyle for the millions of people in China.
