After a year off the Polar Pursuit Race is back! Chase Sailing Club is a great central location for all visitors, set in the beautiful surroundings of Chasewater country park boasting a 900-hectare reservoir which will offer some very exciting, tight racing.
With plenty to do in the surrounding area why not bring the family along as well? Having started in 2018, the event steadily grew into a 30+ turnout in 2019, but sadly it had to be cancelled during 2020.
For the 2021 edition, we will be making use of the full expanse of Chasewater Reservoir for this two hour marathon.
The event is open to all monohull (non keel) dinghies with a PY between 1390-900, and with an entry fee of just £3 for single handers and £6 for double handers, don't miss out on this great excuse to avoid Christmas shopping and come sailing instead.
